Personal Statement
My name is Cody Louveau, I am 5'11" 185lb. I was the starting 3rd baseman on my school's Varsity team my freshman year, also playing catcher. My sophomore year I will be starting at catcher. Getting this experience early in my high school career has allowed me to set high goals for the rest of my high school career.
Ever since I first stepped on a baseball diamond, I've fallen in love with the game. Growing up, my life has been rocky, and baseball was my escape. Baseball holds a place in my heart nobody can take. I play the game cause of my love for the game and the future I want to have for myself. I have the drive to get better everyday.
I LOVE practice, its my favorite part of baseball. There is no where I'd rather be than on that field. Practice is where I strengthen myself to become known as one of the greats. My coach always tell us, "You can't say you've perfected something until you've done it 10,000 times", and he is right. I can't perfect anything unless I practice it, a lot.
But through all of this, my education comes first. I am a member of FCA(Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at my school. And being a team leader I set an example by really promoting that I am a student-athlete, and being a student comes first. My educations comes before my athletics, ALWAYS. I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.
