Personal Statement
My name is Jacob Bemont and I am a current senior at Streator Township High School. I am a very active student. In the past I have been involved in Snowball (drug/alcohol/bullying prevention club), and am currently involved in S-Club and Superfan club. I believe that I show great leadership skills on and off the field. I always pick up my teammates and have a positive attitude. I also take my academics very seriously. I am not the smartest student, but I work just as hard as I do on the baseball field, in the classroom. Ultimately I am going to college to start my life and career, but I love this game and would love the opportunity to play baseball at the next level. I really believe in teamwork because I am a pitcher and I depend on my defense to make plays for me. I have always wanted to play college baseball so it’s important for me to find a place to help my educational goals and my baseball career.
