Personal Statement

I am a 5’11" shortstop from Vernon Hills. I am a dominant right handed hitter.  Failure is something I don’t like and because of this I am driven to accomplish my goals.  Hard work does not scare me.  I am a leader by example.  I display my leadership by working before and after practice so that I am confident when I step on the field and during a game.  I started on my varsity team as a freshman and contributed by making defensive plays that stood out, not only teammates but my coaches as well as the opposing coaches.  My goal in to pursue and play baseball at the highest level my skills will allow.  My interests in life lie in nutrition, fitness and business. I am looking for a school where I can learn from others and one where I can build strong relationships with my coaches and teammates to be the best player I can be. The opportunity to continue towards my goals in the classroom and the baseball diamond would truly be an amazing experience for which I look forward too.
