Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Matthew and I love baseball. Ever since I started playing baseball, I dreamed of playing on a college team and competing at a high level. Baseball is more than just a sport to me, it's a passion, a challenge, and a way of life. I have worked hard in training and practice to improve my skills, my fitness, and my mindset on and off the field. The work has been proven in my batting average, defense, and home run power. I have won many awards and trophies for my performance, played in many regional and national tournaments, and also failed. Along the way I have learned valuable lessons about teamwork, leadership, and resilience from my coaches, teammates, and those failures. I am proud of my achievements, but I also know that I have to work hard to reach my goals. That's why I want to play baseball in college, where I can face new challenges and learn from the best coaches and players, to help me grow as a person, an athlete, and better prepare me for the future. I know that I have what it takes to be a successful college baseball player and a positive contributor to your program. I would be honored to have the opportunity to showcase my abilities and potential to you and your staff. Thank you for your consideration.
