Colin Jackson '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals as a student athlete are to be able to prolong my baseball career while being able to explore possible career options in college.  I am interested in a career in either sports medicine or Chiropractic care. I suffered from a serious back injury my 8th grade and Freshman year in high school not being able to play much. My chiropractor really inspired me to do something similar to help future athletes. I believe I am the best candidate for your program because I am a hard worker. I think my best example of this is going into last season I was around 350 pounds. In just the few months of high school season I lost around 50 pounds and continued to lose over the summer and currently settled out at 270. I hope to keep working on that and improving myself every day. I am the right fit for your program because I truly love baseball and want to push my career as far as I can and working as hard as I possibly can. I bring a positive attitude and I am willing to work hard in class too. I really stepped up last year along with this year in the grade category. I am currently a A-B student with plans of bringing my GPA up even higher. I am currently in 3 weighted classes and I am going to be in 4 next year. Working with my high school counselor we believe I can get that to a low A or High B by the end of my senior year.
