Personal Statement
My name is Connor Williams and I am a Junior at Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis. School is very important to me and I look forward to continuing my education in college. Sports are also important to me. I have played basketball, football, and wrestled but baseball is my passion. What I have learned from playing baseball is talent will only take you so far, you have to be willing to put in a lot of time and give 100% effort to get better. I am willing to put in both the time and effort. In addition to training on my own, I attend weekly sessions with a private hitting instructor and speed/agility training with a personal trainer.
My goals are to attend a college where I can play baseball and possibly pursue a degree in Sports Management. I would like to one day become a baseball coach and share my passion for the game with other young athletes. I would like to attend a college with a strong baseball focus where I can continue to improve my skills and work with players/coaches who share the same goals.
I strive to be a leader both on and off the field and to represent my school, family, and my team in a positive manner.
