Personal Statement
Playing college baseball has always been a dream of mine. Ever since I was young, I have had a dream of one day playing baseball at a collegiate level. The attributes that have allowed me to have such success so far is my dedication and work ethic. I have played in 2 World Series (Colt World Series, Pony World Series) and hopefully a 3rd this summer. I am 6'1 with about 4 more inches to gain. I am growing into my frame to become a solid athlete. I pride myself on not only being a dedicated player but a good teammate that accepts my role.
What separates me from other recruits is easily my willingness to continue to improve not just in practice, but before and after practice. I have spent countless hours in a bullpen and in the cages improving my game. Also something that differs me from other prospects is my ability to accept my role no matter what that may be. I am also a positive teammate and role model on and off the field. I have a GPA of 3.4 and am pursuing an Academic with Honors Diploma. Last but not least, I am also very versatile. I have and can play EVERY position on the field except catcher.
I am constantly striving to the best I can be by getting good grades (3.4GPA) as well as producing on the field. I am willing to put in whatever work is needed to reach whatever goal there may be. I am hungry and willing to reach the peak of my ability as well as play at a high level of baseball. Dedication, work ethic, hungriness, and being a good teammate are the just a few key things I pride myself on.
