Personal Statement
My name is Chris Iatrides, a shortstop from Munster, IN currently entering my senior year at Munster High School. I have always dreamed of playing baseball at the collegiate level since I started playing baseball. I first started playing baseball at the age of six when my dad introduced it to me. I have continued to play the sport I love for the past eleven years and have enjoyed every second of it.
I am a hardworking, dedicated, and goal-oriented student athlete. I set myself to a high standard on the field, as well as off the field. I take my work in the classroom very serious as I see my education as an important role of developing myself as a person. I would like to study finance as my major since that field seems the most compelling to me. I strive to do the best in my classes and extracurriculars. I am always willing to learn whether it be in the classroom or on the baseball field.
I love the game of baseball and dream of playing at the highest level possible. I am a team leader and excel under pressure when it matters most. I always try to put the team in the best position to win no matter what it takes. I am always willing to learn new ways to improve my game and become a better player. I want to be part of a program and culture that will push me to new limits and make me the best person I can be.
