Jacob Edwards '23 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has always been one of the most significant parts of my life. My focus, work ethic, and competitive nature are some characteristics that have kept me going and made me hungry to become the best I can be. I am a leader on and off the field. I am the oldest sibling, so leading comes naturally to me. I have developed lots of mental toughness over the last year. I was in the biggest slump of my life. I was batting .150 and kept striking out; instead of quitting, I pushed through and ended the season batting in the four-hole. I'm working hard to improve my 3.2 GPA by retaking some of the classes that negatively affected my GPA. I will then be on track to graduate with the academic honors diploma. I would love the opportunity to further my baseball career in college.
