Personal Statement
I am working everyday to make my aspiration of playing college baseball a reality. When I am not out on the diamond trying to get in some extra swings and field work, I am in the weight room pushing myself to improve my strength and agility. This year, in my Junior high school season, my hard work truly began to show as I led the Hoosier Crossroads Conference, one of the most competitive baseball conferences in Indiana, with a batting average of .430 and was second in the conference for stolen bases, with 14. Prior to the beginning of my high school season, I was also blessed with the achievement of being named a 2019 Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American.
Though proud of my accomplishments on the field, I am most proud of my accomplishments in the classroom. Through my 3 years of high school I am currently maintaining a 4.23 GPA and just recently scored 1330 on my SAT. Not to mention I am also a part of the National Honors Society at my school. I feel like the work ethic I show in school, is part of the reason why I am willing to due whatever I must in order to achieve my dream of playing baseball at the collegiate level.
