Personal Statement
My name is Gage Stanifer. My goal is to play College Baseball at the highest level. I have wanted to play College Baseball and beyond since I started playing when I was a little boy. The last several years I have really started taking it seriously by buckling down on my studies and training aspects for baseball. I work year round on training and skills that will help be become a better baseball player and a better person.
I train extremely hard to improve myself daily. I have goals of pitching in the 90's by my Junior year in High School. My coaches and trainers think that I can achieve that goal with hard work and dedication which is what I am all about.
I have a very close family that supports me and helps me in every aspect of life whether it be in baseball, education or life in general. My parents, my two sisters and I are very close and we support and push each other to be the best at whatever we choose to do. With the support of my family and friends I know I will achieve any goal I set in baseball and in life.
I want to go somewhere to play baseball and get a degree. My parents stress that education is the main goal and that baseball is the road that can help get that education. Where ever I go to play, I can guarantee that the program that takes me will get the very best I have to offer on and off the field. I give 100% and do not take short cuts. That is my promise.
