Joshua Medina '22 Recruiting Profile

The key details to my life improvement while I've been growing up has been the support of my parents, and also my love for the sport.  As well the necessity of going to the indoor baseball facilities because of the winter weather and also going to the gym to get better, faster and stronger to be successful in the game has let me keep playing and enjoying myself playing baseball. At the start of my high school carrier, my first and yet the only season since I haven't started my sophomore season was very special for me, my team unfortunately didn't win any kind of trophy or state championship but, because it was just the freshman team of Whiteland Community High School, the most important thing for us was the experience and finding even more love for the sport. These next year my goal it's to help my team win even more games.

I've learned about myself playing baseball that I can be very patient but sometimes I can run into desperation, thankfully I get to control myself and do what I'm supposed to do.  My academic goal for high school it's to graduate with at least a 3.7 GPA and after graduating going to college, I want to get an education that will help me get a job good enough of taking care of me and my family. I will need a college education because if I can't continue playing for any reason, I will need a job with a college education.
