Personal Statement
I became interested in baseball thanks to my dad, we started playing on a field near our house when I was 2 years old, since then, I have been a switch hitter because he encouraged me to do so. During the time I have been playing baseball, I have learned how to be confident, patient; I have learned the value of teamwork, consistence, hard work, and how to keep myself focused despite other people´s thoughts on me.
The reason why I want to become a student-athlete in the United States, is that it will represent opportunity for studying a degree while I play the sport I love in a high level of competition. What I am looking for in a program, is a good fit for me athletically and academically. I believe I am respectful, supportive, hustling, hardworking teammate.
Some unique characteristics I have, is my ability of being a fast base runner, I am a switch hitter, and also I consider myself a good defensive player. I strongly believe I have the talent of getting into the next level. I think this mixture of things, represents the really American Students´ Spirit : a good athlete on the field and a good student in the classroom.
