2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Baseball has been my passion since I can remember. I enjoy every aspect of the game and I hope to have the opportunity to play at the highest collegiate level possible. At one time or another, I have played every position on the field, with most of my time spent in the middle infield. I have a blue collar work ethic and I love to get after it on the field, during games and at practice. I enjoy being part of a team and being able to push myself and teammates to excel.
Not only do I have strong work ethics on the field, I am also driven academically. I maintain a high GPA and am taking accelerated classes. My goal is to have several college courses completed upon high school graduation and I am currently on track to do so. Collegiately, I hope to find that balance between baseball and the classroom in a program where I can be a contributor to a successful team.
I have started for my high school varsity team at second base since my 8th grade year. During my time on the varsity team, my team and I have made two trips to the Iowa High School State Baseball Tournament, including a third place finish.
