Personal Statement
I want to play baseball. At a very young age, I started to like the sport and realized I was good at it. Through hard work, perseverance, dedication, and being a leader, I have found out that I want to play at a higher level. As a young kid, my grandfather was my coach for many years, and even as I have had many other coaches, he has always been in the background coaching and teaching me. He has been the most influential person for me. Because of him, I am always learning to better myself and my skills, in baseball and life.
Throughout my life I have overcome many hardships which have only strengthened my faith and the relationships with my family. Because of these life lessons, I have learned to be easy-going, take lessons in stride, be a leader, work hard, and stay positive. They have strengthened my faith more than just going to a Catholic school, they have made me who I am. I am very coachable and I know baseball. Having great relationships with all of my coaches, is a great testament to my character and something I am proud of. Being on a team that sees my talent and character is my goal.
