Brandt Ames '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brandt Ames, I am 6'3" 180 lbs. I am currently in my junior year of high school and taking many college classes. I hope that these classes will help me get prepared for college and balancing school work with athletics. I am looking to go to college for business management or Pre-Law. I want to go to a school with good academics as well as good athletics. I am open to going to any type of college and hoping to get scholarships. I would like to go to many showcases and get my name and talents out there.

My freshman year I was named honorable mention for all team conference. I led the team in conference batting average at .375. My sophomore year I had to sit out due to a broken femur during soccer. I have since made a full recovery and look forward to this years baseball season. Sitting out the past season has given me a chance to analyze my game and make changes. I hope to come back as a stronger, more well balanced player.

This past year, my junior year, was a great year for me. I ended the year with the honors of being on first team all conference. I had a batting average of .361 and had 13 doubles with 30 RBI'S I had a great year and hope to capitalize on my progress.

My goals are to get my degree while playing baseball in college. My goal is to be a salesman for Nike and do international deals, or take over my Dads construction business.
