Personal Statement
With my high school baseball season conclude, I take a look back and the first thing I want to say is that I was underwhelmed by my performance. But when I look deeper, I see the bright spots, such as dealing with adversity and getting hits off a pair of the best pitchers in my “division.” During the postseason, I promised myself to play better, which I did. As my coach said during the end-of-the-year banquet, I was “one of the hottest players”, making solid and hard contact every at-bat. During my offseason, I plan to work hard, mentally and physically, to become a better athlete overall. This season was just getting my feet wet, but I’m ready to make a splash. I also plan to continue working hard in the classroom to keep my 4.0 GPA. I’d be a good fit for any team that needs a player that will grind and work hard in the classroom and on the field. I will also help keep others accountable and will have their backs. Thank you for taking a look at my profile!
