Personal Statement
My name is Koby Burdett. I am a 6’1, 200lbs. 1B/C. I attend Goddard High School and in the class of 2020. I have played high level, competitive baseball since age 8. Teams I have been a part of have traveled throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. I have been catching for three years now and over that time l have become a strong leader, which I look to bring to any team. I have recently began transitioning to playing first base, as well as the corners, to give myself more versatility on the field.
People identify me as a hard worker on and off the field. I am willing to do whatever it takes to be successful whether it is in academics or athletics. Academics have always come first in my life. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA, however I have not decided on a major I would like to pursue. I hope that my academics and athletic ability will assist with my college funding. At this point I am open to any school size or any geographic location. My goal has always been to play baseball in college. I am looking to make an impact on a team as soon as possible, as I will work towards a starting spot freshman year. Thank you for taking the time to view my personal profile.
