Gus Freeman, 6'2' 205 athletic catcher. Two years at Cowley College making an appearance at the JucCo World Series in 2021 and finishing 5th and a final season team record 47-10.
Strong leader on this nationally ranked JuCo baseball team. Landed at Univ. of Louisiana Monroe where medically redshirted after only five game appearances. Strongest performance was against #2 ranked Ole Miss where I had a double, sacrifice bunt, two runners caught stealing and no errors.
Entering the transfer portal to look for a competitive team with a strong philosophy on aggressive play, developing the team and building a winning culture. My ultimate goal is to play at a professional level in the future and become a coach or front office personnel in a professional organization. I currently have three years of NCAA eligibility remaining.
