My 11U season was a big turning point for me as a person and a player. That season, I learned about the importance of becoming an all-round athlete. I learned I had to develop in all areas of the game. I had to raise the bar on my performance and attack my weaknesses. Being very tall for my age, with very long limbs, I had to develop strength and coordination differently than most of my teammates. That season I earned the honor of an invitation to Perfect Game's The Series Classic. This meant I was going to Fort Myers, Florida at the end my local 12U season to play in an invitational against much of the best international competition in my age! This was a huge eye opener to play against and alongside this level of competition. I was honored to be starting pitcher for game 5 of 6 (semi-final game) and earned the game MVP and All Tournament. This is an award I will never forget! From All Tournament, I was then invited to come back for my 13U season; again receiving the honor of game MVP for my pitching. This past December I went to my first PG Showcase, The Main Event. There I earned my first PG grade and had the opportunity to do my first skills show video for college recruiting. Through the support of my parents and direction of my local club coaches I have developed a very high level of love for the game and am excited to be an effective player for your college.
