Personal Statement
I am currently a uncommitted senior at Boone County High School. I’ve been playing for the team for 5 seasons now , since I was a 8th grader. I’ve grown up with baseball being the biggest part of my life. Finishing my 12th season now ,I just can’t see this season being my last. Because of that I’ve been pushing myself and there is nothing that’s going to stand in my way of more baseball! Growing up I’ve started at just about every position so I can prove to be that player you can count on where ever you need me.
I’m wanting to attend school for architectural engineering this fall. Numbers and planning things out and getting them done has always been my go to way to do things. This correlates onto the diamond going with the saying “baseball is 90% mental”
I feel I would be a great addition to any team needing a arm, a bat, and definitely some speed. I was my teams ace this year with one of my games throwing a complete 7inning shut out, giving up one hit and having 11 strike outs. Another good example would be my senior night at the plate with 6 rbi’s in 3 appearances with 2 balls hitting off the wall in clutch time with us down and with 2 outs.
