Personal Statement
My name is Joseph Cupolo I am 16 years old and am 5"11"in tall and weigh 175lbs. I was influenced mostly by my dad to play baseball at a young age and ended up falling in love with the game. I was on the All Star team my 10, 11, and 12 year old seasons. I am a two time district champion and won state my 11 year old season. I know I grew my 11 year old season winning state, but losing in the state semi-finals my 12 year old season helped me realize that win or lose I still loved the game. My family has really influenced my hard working and leadership abilities. They have helped me to understand that everything I want has to be earned on and off the field. Baseball has helped me learn a lot about myself. I have learned that if I want something I have to go get it and that I can do anything as long as I apply myself. My main academic goals are to maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA throughout high school and college. Some obstacles I have overcome while playing are varying positions that I either haven't practiced much or have never played. This has helped me to become a utility player. Some of my unique skills are my running speed, my bat speed, and my competitive nature.
