Personal Statement
I am currently a Senior at PRP High School in Louisville, KY. My name recently changed from Kaysen Buley to Kaysen Compton. My ultimate goal is to take my skills to the next level and play college baseball. I feel like my dedication and great sportsman ship can keep my teammates heads up throughout any situation and I’m willing to help others whenever I can, I feel like I’m different from others because I’m a goal achiever, not only in baseball but also in school. I care a lot about my grades just as much as my baseball career. I've been in Advanced classes since fourth grade. Due to my living situation, I didn't get started in baseball until later than most, but baseball has been my life ever since I started. Once my aunt and uncle got permanent custody of me and I had some stability in my life I played little league through a local league called Prairie Village. After I outgrew the league, I went on to play travel ball for the DC Punishers. My freshman year I decided to focus on school ball and joined the PRP Panthers and have played for them ever since. Currently I am an Outfielder and can play left, right, or center. Currently I am bench pressing 155 lbs, squatting 275 lbs. and deadlifting 315 lbs. but am working every day to improve. I don’t give up and will not give up until my goal is achieved.
