Baseball is one of the biggest parts of my life. I started playing when I was three years old and still get excited at the beginning of each season whether it is the fall, spring or summer. I want to play for a team with players that are as committed and love the sport as much as I do. I am always the first person on the field and the last person to leave the field. I have always prided myself on being the hardest working player on any field or team.
I have played through adversity, having been born with defective heart valve and undergone 2 open heart surgeries in my high school career. My basketball coach cut me following my freshman season, where I returned to the court 8 weeks after my first surgery and was voted by my team as most valuable teammate. I dedicated myself to baseball where I played behind a group of 13 seniors as a freshman and sophomore, and had my junior season cancelled by COVID after my most intense, dedicated off season. At the beginning of my senior year I learned that my valve required replacement and have spent the off season recovering and preparing for my best season ever.
I strive to be a leader on a team for younger athletes and my peers. Even though I primarily play outfield, third base, or pitch I am willing to step in and play any role a team needs.
I am looking forward to having a coach that can get the most out of me and push me to the highest level and having the best college experience on a team that loves to play the game and win.
