February 2014Personal Statement
~My name is Kris Tamplet and I currently play baseball for Central Private Rebels in Louisiana. I have started on 2 State Championship teams as an outfielder and first baseman. I was named 2nd Team All District DH my sophomore year and 1rst Team All District First Baseman my junior year.
My goal is to go to college where I can earn my degree and continue to play the game that I truly love. The reason I feel I would be a good asset to a college team is I have a great work ethic and willing to make myself and teammates better no matter what it takes. I play for the name on the front of the jersey rather than what’s on the back. I feel like I am a good leader in and out of the locker room. I just enjoy being around the game whether its helping my little brother’s team, camps, or anytime a ball is being tossed around.
