In college, I would love to be apart of the baseball program, and specifically the architecture or an engineering program. I am willing to push as hard as I can to accomplish my goals to be the best player I can be, and get the best grades. Even if I don't start or even play during games, I will strive to be a fantastic teammate, whether it be working others hard during practice and giving positive encouragement during games.

- Camp Staff Final Notes: Cameron is a hard worker who plays the game the right way. He is very coachable, asks questions and has a willingness to improve. With the bat, this righty shows an athletic setup with centered balance. He tracks the ball out of the pitcher's hand and into the zone. He takes a hack, barrels the ball up and looks to drive the middle of the field. Increase power will come as he works to swing against a more firm front side and engage his lower 1/2 more. Behind the plate, Cameron sits in well and presents a low target. He tracks pitches into a soft mitt and frames well. He gets around pitches in the dirt and bodies the ball up, getting to his feet quickly with runners on base. Continuing to strengthen his arm (long toss) will help pop times to continue to drop. This 2019 grad has upside with the drive to improve to get to where he wants to be.

- Final Notes form Staff: Cameron is a thick, solid catcher who has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the plate, he utilizes his athletic feet well in working in line through a clean transfer exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times show the 2.20 range with accuracy on his throws. Receiving / blocking skills show as playable tools as he continues to develop and get more reps. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. He loads well and displays quick hands that work through a level swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with power showing best to the pull side. With 3 years to further develop, Cameron has potential with time and room to progress his game.
