Justin Schrader '19 Recruiting Profile

Baseball did not come easy to me growing up. I was never the best kid on the team or the All Star. During my early days of playing, I had a few teammates and coaches tell me I wasn’t good enough.  At about the age of 10, I realized I had a true passion for the game and wanted to be a successful baseball player.  My goal is to play baseball at the highest level.  I can remember going to the park with my dad for countless hours working on all aspects of the game. I cannot be grateful enough for what my parents have done for me. Playing baseball has showed me that I can push myself mentally, physically, and emotionally.  One day, I want to be able to accomplish my goal because it will mean my hard work paid off and I did what people said I could not do.
