My name is Aiden Leonard, and I am a baseball player in the class of 2023. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old, competing on travel teams every year. I've loved the sport ever since, because my closest friends and I were able grow and realize our goals together. I've always played on talented rosters, and I have learned what it means to compete for a position. My favorite quality of baseball is that work ethic will often outweigh natural ability. As a sophomore, I was fortunate enough to play a part in a state championship season , and was asked to pitch critical innings in that playoff run. My future goals are to play baseball at the collegiate level. It would be and honor to continue my career while furthering my education. My current GPA in high school is a 3.5, and my goal is to increase this before I graduate. My greatest quality is my work ethic, and I enjoy competing for my position. I am known for my energetic mound presence, and being a catalyst for my team when needed. I would like to play college baseball in Louisiana, so that I can take advantage of state-funded financial aid. I am open to out of state options as well, under the right circumstances. I have aspirations of majoring in mathematics/computer science, and like to become a sports statistician one day.
