Personal Statement
I played baseball as long as I can remember. I love the game of baseball and am constantly learning more about the game and working to improve my baseball skills. On the mound, I learned how to correct my own mistakes and repeat what works. I learned that no one is to blame but me for bad pitches or missed locations and that success comes from locating my pitches and relying on my defense. Baseball taught me to depend on others and rely on myself at the same time.
In my family, academics come first. Only when my grades are up to par does everything else fall into place. This will be true in college as well.
