My high school varsity career began when I was in the 8th grade, but my love of the game began at 5 years old. I was honored to have been selected to represent my team and my town 6 consecutive years in All-Stars.  During my 8th grade year I started on the Jr High Baseball team, the JV Baseball team and the Varsity Baseball team, where I was selected 2nd team All-District utility player. I started in several positions including: centerfield, shortstop, pitcher, third base, left field, right field and catcher. I have also played first base and second in past years.  During my Freshman year I also played utility but was awarded 1st team All-District Pitcher and was named to the All Parish (All County) Team as a pitcher and utility.  I have a "see a need, fill a need" philosophy, it doesn't matter what position I play as long as I am on the field. 

I have a strong work ethic that shows in all I do. I am an A/B student, multiple athlete, and an active member of my church. I was on the 2017 LHSAA Championship Football Team. I believe that baseball, and team sports, in general, is about the team and not just the individual athletes. I was raised to be humble, hard-working and a leader. I have been taught if you want something bad enough, go earn it. 

My ultimate dream is to earn a degree to teach high school math and coach baseball after college.  I also want to open a baseball facility that allows children with special needs the opportunity to play baseball so that they can also share in the sportsmanship and camaraderie that I love about the sport.
