Zackary Groat '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'10" 170 lbs. I have been playing baseball since Tee Ball. I now play for my high school Varsity team, I played Junior Legion in the Summer after my freshman and sophomore year in high school, in the fall I have played in a Fall baseball league through the Frozen Ropes program in the fall of my sophomore year. The fall of my junior year I played for the Maine Royal showcase league team. During winter I go to different training facilities to get instruction from coaches during the off season and get prepared for the high school season. I am a responsible hard worker and I am very dedicated to the sport of baseball and my schoolwork. I am working hard to hopefully be able to play college baseball. I am particularly interested in rural colleges in the North East because I would like to be within driving distance of home and I am more of a small town person, but I am up for anything if I get the right opportunity.
