Jacques LaBonte '19 Recruiting Profile

    Winning the State Championship in the summer going into into my senior year has highlighted my baseball career so far. This year overall has been such an amazing year to watch myself grow as a player, mentally and physically. I learned the thought process and mentality of a starting pitcher through my high school head coach who was a former MLB pro. Being able to do this made me realize how coachable of a player I am, and I look at being a coachable player as one of my strong suits. Being coachable made me realize with the right coaching the sky is the limit and that's why I have what it takes to play at the next level.

    I have been very fortunate to be surrounded with amazing family, friends and coaching around me always trying to make me a better player on and off the field. My coaches have always been supportive reaching out to me about clinics and off season work and even a game in the middle of the summer to get some extra work in, and that's what i'm about. I love this game and i'm willing to do whatever it takes to be the best that I can be. I'm looking forward to becoming a leader on your ball club!
