Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since I was four years old.Being a baseball player is just as much of a part of me as my name. Every memeber of my family has a baseball story to tell about me, whether it was my grandma picking me up out of my crib and watching me lift my front leg as I threw my ball out or my sisters being forced to help me with my infielding or my mom soft tossing another bucket of balls after the game. My love for baseball has extended beyond me and into a family affair. I have always dreamed of playing baseball in college and beyond. I have played baseball on both coasts of this country. I have experienced trying out for my desired position on many different teams and earning it each and every time. Practicing baseball never feels like practice, it feels like meeting up with an old friend and spending hours together then waiting until the next time we can meet. I am dedicated to this sport and my craft as a middle infielder. I play hard and I work hard. I help my team in any way I can whether that is picking them up after a rough play or meeting up to get the work in. I work hard off the field as well. I apply myself in academics. I am exploring mutlitple college major options and researching which is the best career path for myself.
