Henry Curran '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Henry Curran. I am a senior and play varsity baseball at South Portland High School.  I work very hard at being a student/athlete and want to continue that commitment to both my studies and playing baseball in college. I prepare all year to improve my pitching game and contribute to my team. When each season begins, I am confident on the mound. My coaches and my teammates can count on me to be mentally and physically tough consistently delivering my best - every pitch, every game. In addition to baseball, I just finished my season as the varsity goalie for my high school soccer team where we made it to the state semi-finals. Our team held the opponents scoreless 6 times this season. Both my baseball and soccer coaches have commented on how well I handle the pressure during key plays. I was honored to receive 2014 Fall Athlete of the Year.  I look forward to challenging academics next year, continuing to grow as a pitcher and becoming a part of a new team.
