Nathan Reed '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nathan Reed and I am currently a 17 year old senior attending Harford Technical High School in Bel Air, Maryland. I have been playing at the travel level of baseball and soccer since I was 8 years old and it is my dream to play baseball at the collegiate level. My experiences as a baseball and soccer player have given me a great opportunity to improve my game by analyzing plays and using instinct, tactics, and skill in response. Combined, these sports have shown me how the offensive mind and defensive mind works in order to learn your opponent and use new strategies. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned from participation in sports is how to be flexible and adjust because I believe that adjustment is the biggest key into succeeding both on and off the field.

My pursuits, along with playing baseball, would be to attend a college institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the ball field. I am interested in applying for a Criminal Justice program.  My goal is to obtain a job in law enforcement when I graduate; specifically I am interested in Homeland Security or the State Police.  These goals will take a lot of work and effort. I would give everything I have to do what it takes to succeed in the game and in life.
