Dear coaches,
My name is Joshua Golden and I attend Hancock Middle Senior High School. It is a personal goal of mine to attend college and acquire a quality education. I would love to be able to play baseball at a higher level also. I grew up playing baseball at a young age and was fortunate enough to have a father who pushed me to do my best in all aspects of life. It was through the countless hours at the ball field, all the hours in the backyard throwing, and traveling all over the East Coast that I learned diligence and perseverance from him. I know for a fact, that no coach will never have reason to question my work ethic or my priorities. I am open to all opportunities and offers that are presented to me. I hope to be able to find a college that will allow me to excel both academically and athletically. At the same time, I would rather be able to attend this college without acquiring an insane amount of debt.
I have not only been working on the field, but in the classroom too. I have always been in honors classes and have taken several AP courses. Next year, I plan to take AP World History, AP Language and Composition, AP Physics, and Advanced Anatomy and Physiology as a Junior. I also am on track to continue taking a challenging course load my Senior year. I currently have slightly over a 4.00 GPA and have been a member of the Honors Club for two years. Also, next year, I will be able to be inducted into the National Honor Society. Whatever college I decide to attend, my time and energy will be completely dedicated to their program.
Sincerely,
Joshua Golden
