I'm Mitchell Wittkamp. I'm a rising senior at North Harford High School in Maryland, graduating in 2021. I excel academically, with a 4.375 GPA, taking both AP and college courses in my junior and senior years. I plan to study business in college.
In 2019, as a sophomore varsity baseball player, I was selected by the MD State Assoc of baseball coaches as a RHP for both the Futures Team and Frosh/Soph Team. During the 2019 high school season, I held a 3.16 ERA, with 48 strikeouts over 37.2 innings pitched. I currently have a max 89mph fastball, with range of 86-87mph. I have 3 additional pitches - change-up, curve ball and cutter.
I am motivated and hard-working in my athletics, as well as my academics. With my trainer, I have been and continue to work on my strength and conditioning. At 6'3" and 160lbs, I strive to increase my strength weight over the 2020 summer. For the past 6 years, I have worked with my pitching coach on arm slot, pitches and pitch location, velocity, and pick-off moves.
I'm looking for a strong academic college with an equally strong baseball team. Based on my academics and baseball career, I believe I'd be a great addition to any university and baseball team!
