Personal Statement
My dream and goal to be a college athlete started when I was only 10 years old and participated in travel baseball for the first time. Being a leader in my teams, my classes, my community, and driving toward my goals, both athletically and academically is everything!
Baseball has been at the center of my world since I can remember, but playing football in high school has actually made me an even better leader and athlete. The football program, team, and coaches have improved my habits of commitment, leading to strength and speed that I didn't have before and have improved my skills in baseball!
When I am playing baseball, I am happiest. There is absolutely nothing more fun than a double header Saturday when I am in the pitching rotation. I love the challenge and the feeling of coming through for my team!
I am part of an IB Magnet at Richard Montgomery in Rockville which is very challenging. The rigor and and the challenge of debate and discussion with other students in the program is almost like the adrenaline that comes from a great baseball or football game. I participate in Model UN Club. I also am a graduate assistant in the Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program.
My dynamic background and commitment to adding to all of my teams will bring a positive contribution to your team too!
