Noland Kinna '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Noland Kinna, I am a 6’2” 215lb RHP for the College of Southern Maryland in LaPlata Maryland. I am currently working on my degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Spanish Education.  I would like to also receive a Minor in Coaching as it is a dream of mine to be a coach at a high school or college level one day later in life. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches and  I know without them I wouldn’t be the player I am today. 

I graduated high school in May of 2022 as an honors student while also being dual-enrolled at Frederick Community College where I earned 12 college credits. I played 4 years of high school baseball with Catoctin and I also played high school basketball as a freshman.  In addition, I am a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and various school clubs.  I am a dedicated student on the field and in the classroom and I was the recipient of the United State Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award. 

I am currently looking for the next step in my college baseball career. I know that I will make a good addition to the right school’s baseball and overall community. I have a strong work ethic on and off the field and I strive to always do my best to put in the work needed.  I have always had a unique arm angle when pitching so more recently my coaches changed my style to side arm, but I can also pitch over the top.  I have good coaches that I trust and encourage their adjustments to make me the best player I can be.
