Personal Statement
I started my love for the game of baseball as a primary sport after my 11 year old season of little league were i was elected to our district all star team consecutive seasons at the 11 and 12 year old ages. My AAU career started at the 12 year old level with Mizuno Northeast achieving New England runner up status. My Coach that year was Alex Dion who Currently is the manager of the collegiate Futures organization the worcester Bravehearts. At the 13 year old level with the same organization I played under Chris Santucci Who currently coaches at NEB. The 14 year old team was a wagon. I tried out for an elite team from Top Prospect organization called the Central Ma. Hurricanes coached by Aaron Kaska who is currently an assistant coach with Assumption College in Worcester Ma. We finished 3rd at a tournament at Baseball on the beach in Rehoboth Delaware. I was platooning from short stop to 2nd baseThe competition was insane and we held our own against some pretty elite teams. The love for that kind of competition and the special bond with my teammates has propelled me to the level I'm at today . Ive played for some great coaches and great organizations. the last two years under Phil Price of Evolution baseball in West Boylston, Ma. His hitting instruction was a key factor in my sophomore year of high school last year. I moved over to 3rd base last year because of my ability to field hard shots at the hot corner. Our Tahanto Stags team from a small town school made it all the way to 2019 State Championship game of division 4 in Massachusetts under the tutalidge of Coach Neel Greenwald. I've played with a lot of great teammates, and for some great coaches who have taught me the righty to play this great game, and hopefully will give me the chance to play at the next level. Thank You Rob Salerno
