I95 Showcase 08/2019Personal Statement
I first started playing Elite Baseball at the age of nine. I had a coach who did not believe in me. He did not think I had the drive or ability to be a competitor. I had to work twice as hard as my teammates for playing time. It was tough on me both physically and emotionally. I did not let that stop me. With the help of my professional coaches, I worked as hard as I could at my game. That ultimately helped me be the great player I am today.
Now, I continue to play baseball at the Elite level and for a very competitive high school program. I am considered a top starting pitcher on both teams and have become more of a leader than an underdog. With my positive attitude and work ethic I am sure I can be a valuable asset as I continue high school and into college.
