Personal Statement
Dear coach,
My name is Ryan Ruef, I am 17 years old, and I attend Lee Middle and High school. I have always dreamed of having the opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level. My teachers, coaches and family would tell you that I am driven to succeed, competivitve, level headed and resilent. I strive to be a leader. I was chosen as the sophmore representive from Lee Middle and High School to attend Mass Star, a leadership conference this past May. In the future I would like to persue a career in medicine. The Air Force Para Rescueman program (PJ) is an opportunity in which I would like to explore. The opportunity to practice emergency medicine while in the military is a goal of mine. The concept of a team is an intricate part of my beliefs. One thing you need to know about me is i do not quit, period. Once a challenge or a task is put in front of me it is physically and mentally impossible for me for me to say I can't or I give up I can't do it. It simply isn't in my vernacular abilities for me to say I quit or I can't.
I would love to play for any college or university who gives me the chance to display my capablities. I also want to explain that there is nothing I want more than to play colliegiate baseball for anyone who gives me the chance. This has always been a dream of mine to be able to participate with the best team possible.
My grades are very exceptional. I have an accumulitive GPA of 3.8 and i am involed in multiple honors classes this year and the following year to come. I hope to hear from you soon and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
