Personal Statement
I worked very hard to compete at the high school level. However, I faced many hardships. One of them being on a team where my teammates would make me feel like I was useless and no good at baseball. This was a time where my confidence was at its lowest but I didn’t let that get under my skin because I came back the next season with more strength, speed, and confidence ready to play. That experience helped me grow and learn that I am strong and have a purpose in the game of baseball.
Now I am in a baseball program where my coaches have a lot of knowledge about the game and are helping me become a better student-athlete everyday. After high school, I’d like to be in a college program that fits well for me both academically and athletically. I believe that I have the talent, skill, work-ethic, and leadership skills to compete at the college level!
