Personal Statement
I am currently a freshman enrolled at a DIII University, and redshirting this year and will have 4 years of eligibility remaining starting in the fall. I am looking to transfer to a university that I can earn a degree in communications and play college baseball. For my first semester at Clark University I earned a 4.0 GPA. My ultimate goal is to play in the MLB. One of my strongest attributes is my role as a team player. I can adjust to any situation at hand and make a quick decision as to what would benefit my team the most. Baseball is a thinking game and a game of adjustments; I think fast and adjust very well as a pitcher. I strongly believe that I can help any team due to my skill, dedication, grit, work ethic, and positive attitude.
I was raised with the values of hard work and discipline. Athletics have been a part of my family all my life. I take pride in participating in sports and being a leader. Along with athletics, academics have played a vital role as well. I strive to produce on the field and in the classroom in order to become a well- rounded person. I would make a great addition to anyone's team, and I look forward to the challenge of choosing my future college or university.
Team CT 2016 - 16U Americans couldn't get anything going as long as Maximilian Mandel was pitching. Mandel gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.
