Personal Statement
Dear College Baseball recruiter,
My name is Sajjan Desai, and I am a 2018 prospect from Detroit, Michigan. I consider myself a utility player, but my primary positions are corner outfield and second base. I have been playing baseball since I was 4, and competitive travel baseball since I was 10, and I hope to one day play collegiate baseball at a university that helps me develop both my academic and athletic skills. There are many reasons why you should consider me as a potential candidate for your team. First, I will represent your team extremely well in the classroom. I hope to major in business, and thus I take my school work very seriously, attaining Magna Cum Laude 4 years in a row and scoring a 33 on the ACT as a sophomore. Second, I bring with me plenty of baseball experience. For the last 3 years, I have played competitive travel baseball for the Bloomfield Sting, and we have won plenty of accolades, including a state championship in 2014 and a #2 ranking in the midwest region. Last of all, I am a hard worker who does anything my team asks of me. Although I started off my career as a third baseman, I have worked hard at all aspects of the game and am able to play all positions on the field. Thank you in advance for looking at my NCSA profile, and please keep my name on tab as a 2018 prospect.
