My name is Nick Aown, and I am a junior catcher and pitcher at Boyne City High School. Growing up, baseball has been a huge part of my life. For as long as I can remember, every spring and summer has been spent on the diamond. Playing college baseball has been the ultimate dream for me since I was about 12 years old.
I made our varsity team as a freshman in high school , and was the starting catcher as well as the number two pitcher. My sophomore year, I was one of the top catchers and pitchers in the area, earning several accolades including all-area and all-region dream teams.
As well as a standout baseball player, I am a well rounded, and active member of the student body and community. I participate in student council, National Honor Society, and was the captain on my quizbowl team. I am also a member of the youth ministry program at my church.
I look forward to having the opportunity to grow and learn through playing baseball in the future.
