Personal Statement

I am a very hard worker and I am willing to do what ever it takes to be the best student athlete for you and your team. As a sophomore at Byron Center I was pulled up to varsity because of my versatility in the field. I can play outfield, middle infield, 3rd base or catcher. I will work hard no matter what position you put me at. When it comes to hitting, I usually am an on base hitter who hits singles and doubles, but will sometimes show signs of power. Hitting and fielding aren't the only things I strive to be great at. I also really want to try and perfect the mental aspect of baseball. When it comes to school my grades are average. I average around a B in most classes. My freshman year I struggled and my GPA suffered because of that. Freshman Year I ended with a 2.42, but this year (Sophomore year) I have a 3.12. I work hard on and off the field and I am a kid you can count on as a student and as an athlete.
