Personal Statement
As I look forward to my college experience, I see these coming four years as a period of personal, academic, and athletic growth. Academically, I am looking for a school that is both a great cultural fit and strong in several areas, as I am most interested in computer science, and engineering. Being a multi-sport athlete, I've learned to balance my time in the classroom, during practices (whether on the ice or on the diamond) I hold myself to the highest standards. I believe that preparation, attitude, and effort are core components of a winning team and I work extraordinarily hard to improve myself and fulfill the dedication I have to my teammates of giving 100% effort. I am confident I will be a positive impact to my college team in the field, at the plate, and in the dugout. I am fortunate to attend a high school that has a strong academic standing and a successful baseball program. It is a source of great pride for me, and I strive to always represent my school and my community with dignity and respect. I am very excited to have an opportunity to carry forward this passion and dedication at the collegiate level.
