Going through many adversities as a kid, especially the fact that I was always the “new kid” taught me to treat others with respect and to put others first. Also, I have helped out my community since I was a little kid in a variety of ways, including raking leaves for the elderly and giving out gift bags to cancer patients at Beaumont Hospital.
I have been the starting third baseman on the Clawson Varsity baseball team for one year now. My freshman year and a good amount of my sophomore year I was on the Junior-Varsity team. At the end of my sophomore year I got moved up to varsity. Also, In 2014 I played fall-ball with the Warren Thunder. During my first varsity season as a starter, I was named All-Conference for academics. I always work as hard as I can and encourage my team to do so as well. Through the years, I have learned how to make the most of what I had and to never give up.
School is very important to me considering I currently have a 3.2 GPA and a 22 on my ACT. I have been on the honor roll since my freshman year, I am a part of my high school's Junior Optimist Club, Am the CO-Captain of the Robotics team, I was accepted into the National Technical Honor Society(NTHS), I have received All-Conference for Academics in both Baseball and Cross-Country, and I'm a National Horatio Alger Scholarship winner.
