Personal Statement

My name is Parker Jacobson, I love everything about baseball. I love getting to know new teammates and learning new things each and every practice, but also love to master the old techniques. I am a hard worker that will listen to every advice that a coach will give me. I will respectfully  tell a coach my thoughts if I believe that what I am doing could work better.

Away from baseball, I like to do a variety of things to stay active.  I do like to do many other things during the off season to stay active and fit. Over that past year I’ve really enjoyed weightlifting, I will continue to work on my strength and speed in the sym.  During the winter I like to go skiing with friends and have fun while keeping my legs strong.

I still have not picked a major, but will work on discovering my career desires as I move into my Junior and Senior years of High School.  I am open to all divisions as long as we are a good fit for each other. Selecting a college with a Christian foundation would be my preference.

I have the organization and time management skills to handle the busy schedule and demands of a student athlete.  At this point, I’m only a Sophomore and I’m working hard to get stronger and faster. I never let failures or setbacks get me down.  I do my best to lead by example, which was reflected when my travel team voted me as “Most likely to be President of the United States”.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
